Game 57: Devils Beat Ducks 3-2 in Shootout

    The New Jersey Devils were victorious 3-2 in a shootout at the Prudential Center over the Anaheim Ducks on Friday, February 17, 2012.

    Adam Henrique beat Jonas Hiller 1:25 into the second period to give New Jersey a 1-0 lead.   Ilya Kovalchuk and Zach Parise assisted on Henrique's 15th goal of the season.

    The Devils took a two goal lead when Alexei Ponikarovsky scored at 10:56.   Ponikarovsky's 10th goal of the season was assisted by Dainius Zubrus and Matt Taormina.

    Corey Perry beat Martin Brodeur at 16:08 of the second period and Sheldon Brookbank sent the game to overtime when he tied the game with a goal at 17:47 of the third period.
