Game 22: Islanders / Toronto Beat Devils 3-2

The New Jersey Devils were defeated 2-3 at home to the New York Islanders on Saturday, November 25, 2011.

Matt Moulson beat Martin Brodeur at 11:28 of the first period to give the Islanders a 1-0 lead.

Adam Larsson tied the game, beating Al Montoya at 4:20 of the second period.   Ilya Kovalchuk and Adam Henrique assisted on Larsson's second goal of the season.

Josh Bailey scored at 11:59 to put the Islanders back on top.

Adam Henrique beat Montoya 3:59 into the third period to tie things up once again.   Henrique's fifth goal of the season was assisted by Zach Parise and Ilya Kovalchuk.

Michael Grabner took advantage of a giveaway right in from of Brodeur, scoring short-handed at 5:51.

Zach Parise tied the game with just 2.1 seconds remaining in regulation time.   The goal was called by the officials on the ice, but Toronto over-ruled the decision, disallowing the goal.   Their bogus claim was that the puck was kicked into the net.
