Game 9: Devils Fall to Rangers 1-3

    The New Jersey Devils lost 1-3 to the Rangers in New York on Sunday, October 24, 2010.

    The Rangers outshot the Devils 17-10 in the first period, in which neither team scored.

    Michal Rozsival beat Martin Brodeur just 1:26 into the second period.   Ryan Callahan added a power-play goal at 12:22 to make it a 2-0 New York lead.

    Ilya Kovalchuk beat Henrik Lundqvist at 14:08 of the third period to get New Jersey on the board.   Dainius Zubrus and Matt Corrente assisted on Kovalchuk's third goal of the season.

    Brandon Dubinsky added an empty net goal at 19:59 to make it a 3-1 Rangers victory.
