April 06, 2010 Game 79: Marty's 600th Career Win is 3-0 Shutout of Thrashers
The New Jersey Devils shutout the Thrashers 3-0 in Atlanta on
Tuesday, April 6, 2010. The win was career shutout 110 and victory 600
for Martin Brodeur.
Dean McAmmond beat Johan Hedberg at 15:28 of the first period to
give the Devils a 1-0 lead. Dainius Zubrus and Pierre-Luc
Letourneau-Leblond assisted on McAmmond's seventh goal of the season.
Zach Parise scored just 51 seconds into the second period to make
it a two goal lead for New Jersey. Paul Martin and Bryce Salvador were
credited with assists on Parise's 37th goal of the season.
10 seonds into the third period, Travis Zajac took advantage of a
Devils (lucky) bounce and scored to make it a 3-0 Devils lead. Martin
Skoula and Dainius Zubrus assisted on Zajac's 24th goal of the season.
