The New Jersey Devils will defeated the Boston Bruins 3-2 at the
Prudential Center on Monday, March 15, 2010.
Rob Niedermayer scored his ninth goal of the season, putting the
puck past Tim Thomas at 9:58 of the first period to give the Devils a 1-0
lead. David Clarkson and Martin Skoula assisted on the goal.
David Clarkson made it 2-0 New Jersey with a goal at 17:23.
Martin Brodeur assisted on Clarkson's eighth goal of the season.
Zach Parise scored just 45 seconds later to make it a three goal
Devils lead. Mike Mottau and Patrik Elias assisted on Parise's 32nd goal
of the season.
The Devils outshot the Bruins 12-11 in the first period, which
ended with New Jersey leading 3-0.
Tuukka Rask started the second period in net for Boston and Blake
Wheeler put the Bruins on the board with a goal just 43 seconds into the
