Game 74: Devils Lose To Islanders 1-3

    The New Jersey Devils lost again to a local team, suffering a 1-3 home loss to the New York Islanders on Friday, March 21, 2008.

    Blake Comeau gave the Islanders a 1-0 lead with a goal that beat Martin Brodeur at 4:46 of the first period.

    Travis Zajac beat Wade Dubielewicz with a goal that tied the game on a power-play at 13:46.   Brian Gionta and Zach Parise assisted on Zajac's 14th goal of the season.

    Kyle Okposo scored his first career NHL goal on a power-play at 17:25 of the third period.   Trent Hunter added an empty net goal at 19:41 to make it a 3-1 Islanders win.
