November 30, 2005 Game 24: Flyers Beat Devils 2-1
The New Jersey Devils lost 2-1 in Philadelphia to the
Flyers on Wednesday, November 30, 2005.
The Devils outshot the Flyers 13-7 in the first period, though no
goals were scored.
Mike Knuble beat Martin Brodeur at 9:58 of the second period to
give the Flyers a 1-0 lead. Patrick Sharp increased the Flyers lead
scoring 3:22 later.
The second period ended with the Flyers leading the Devils, 2-0.
The Flyers outshot the Devils 15-9 in the period.
Sean Brown put the puck past Robert Esche at 8:02 of the third
period to cut the Devils deficit to one goal. Alexander Mogilny was
credited with the only assist on Brown's second goal of the season.
The game ended with the Flyers winning, 2-1. The Flyers
outshot the Devils 11-9 in the third period and 33-31 in the game.
