December 19, 2005 Larry Robinson Resigns; Lamoriello Steps In
Head Coach Larry Robinson resigned from coaching the New Jersey
Devils on Monday, December 19, 2005. Robinson sited health concerns,
"horrible headaches" brought on by stress and the teams lack of success as the
primary reasons for his resignation.
Lou Lamoriello (President & GM) will take over as head coach
until he finds a replacement, which he intends to do soon.
