December 01, 2004 Devils "Toys for Tots" Toy Drive: Thursday, December 16
The New Jersey Devils will hold their annual toy drive on
Thursday, December 16, 2004 at Gate A of the Continental Airlines Arena, from
6:00PM to 8:00PM. The Devils 23rd annual toy drive will again benefit
the US Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" program.
From The Devils Web Site, "All fans are
requested to bring new, unwrapped toys to the arena. Donations will then
be distributed to hospitals and orphanages, and to the less-fortunate
throughout the state."
"Former Devils' players Bob Carpenter, Ken Daneyko, John MacLean,
and Randy Velischek will be on hand on the arena concourse to assist in the
collection. Every fan who makes a donation will receive an autographed
card from a Devils' alumnus. In addition, Santa Claus will be making a
special appearance and will be posing for photographs."
