April 04, 2004 Brodeur / Devils Win Jennings Trophy
Martin Brodeur, with the help of Corey Schwab (3GP) and Scott
Clemmensen (4GP) has won the NHL's Jennings Trophy.
The William M. Jennings Trophy was first awarded after the

fewest goals scored against.
The Devils have now won the award 4 times in their history.
In 1996-1997, Mike Dunham shared the award with Martin Brodeur; In
1997-1998, Martin Brodeur claimed the trophy alone; and in 2002-2003 Martin
Brodeur shared the award with Philadelphia netminders Roman Cechmanek and
Robert Esche.
This season, the Devils allowed 164 goals - setting a new record
for fewest goals allowed in an 82-game season. The next fewest goals
