March 29, 2004 Devils Sign Center Zach Parise
The New Jersey Devils announced that they had signed center Zach
Parise on Monday, March 29, 2004. Terms of the Deal were not disclosed,
though it's rumored to be a 3-year worth $3+ million, including signing
bonus.
Lamoriello said of the 5'11", 185lb center, "Zach Parise has been
one of the top collegiate players in the country over the past two seasons, as
well as one of the top players in the past two World Junior tournaments.
He is the type of player who is as good defensively as he is offensively.
We look forward to him joining the New Jersey Devils
organization."
