June 12, 2003 Martin Brodeur wins 2003 Vezina Trophy
Martin Brodeur was announced as the 2003 Winner of the Vezina
Trophy at the NHL Awards ceremony in Toronto on Thursday, June 12, 2003.
The Vezina is awarded to the leagues best goaltender as voted on
by the general managers of all 30 NHL teams. Though this was his fourth
nomination for the award, it was his first time winning it.
