February 06, 2003 Sergei Brylin Out 2-3 MONTHS with Broken Wrist
The New Jersey Devils were hit with some bad news on Thursday,
February 6, 2003. They announced that Sergei Brylin's wrist injury
required surgery that would keep him out of the lineup for 2-3 months.
The injury occurred Wednesday night in the game against the
Capitals, with 6:05 remaining in the first period. Brylin became
sandwiched between Colin White and Steve Konowalchuk along the boards.
The surgery was performed on February 6.
