March 04, 2013 Game 22: Maple Leafs Defeat Devils 4-2
The New Jersey Devils lost 2-4 to the Maple Leafs in Toronto on
Monday, March 4, 2013.
Nazem Kadri put the Leafs ahead first with a goal that beat Johan
Hedberg at 10:34 of the first period.
Marek Zidlicky beat James Reimer at 5:43 of the second period to
tie the game, 1-1. Ryan Carter assisted on Zidlicky's second goal of the
season.
Zidlicky scored again at 11:18 to take a 2-1 lead. Ryan
Carter was again credited with the only assist on Zidlicky's goal.
Jay McClement scored just 39 seconds into the third period to tie
the game, 2-2. Clarke MacArthur added a power-play goal at 7:25 to give
the Leafs a 3-2 lead. Phil Kessel scored at 9:52 to make it 4-2.
