R4 Game 1: Kings Edge Devils 2-1 in Overtime

    The New Jersey Devils lost 1-2 in overtime to the Los Angeles Kings for game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Wednesday, May 30, 2012.

  Colin Fraser scored the only goal of the first period when he beat Martin Brodeur at 9:56.   Shots were 5-5 in the period.

    Anton Volchenkov got the Devils on the board with a goal that beat Jonathan Quick at 18:48 of the second period.   Patrik Elias and David Clarkson assisted on Volchenkov's first goal of the playoffs.

    Anze Kopitar beat Brodeur on a breakaway at 8:13 of the first overtime to win the game for LA.
