Game 55: Panthers Beat Devils 3-1

    The New Jersey Devils lost 1-3 at home to the Florida Panthers on Saturday, February 11, 2012.

    Steve Bernier scored his first goal as a Devil, beating Scott Clemmensen just 1:39 into the first period.   Alexei Ponikarovsky and Dainius Zubrus assisted on the goal.

    Sean Bergenheim beat Martin Brodeur at 15:08 on a power-play to even the score.   Kris Versteeg gave the Panthers a 2-1 lead with a goal at 7:43 of the second period.   Mikael Samuelsson added an empty net goal at 19:35 of the third period.
