Game 72: Devils Beat Blue Jackets 3-0

    Martin Brodeur and the New Jersey Devils shutout the Blue Jackets 3-0 in Columbus on Sunday, March 20, 2011.

    David Clarkson's 11th goal of the season beat Steve Mason at 9:24 of the first period to give the Devils a 1-0 lead.   Jacob Josefson and Mattias Tedenby assisted on the goal.

    Clarkson made it a 2-0 lead with a goal at 8:50 of the second period.   Mattias Tedenby and Andy Greene assisted on Clarkson's second goal of the game.

    The Devils took a three goal lead when Nick Palmieri scored at 3:22 of the third period.   Palmieri's seventh goal of the season was scored unassisted.
