Game 60: Hedberg & Devils Shutout Stars 1-0

    The New Jersey Devils defeated the Stars 1-0 Dallas on Tuesday, February 22, 2011.

    Neither team scored in the first period, in which the Devils outshot the Stars 9-8.   The second period was also scoreless.   The Stars outshot the Devils 7-5 in the second period.

    Nick Palmieri broke the scoreless tie with a power-play goal that beat Kari Lehtonen at 14:23 of the third period.   Ilya Kovalchuk and Mark Fayne were credited with assists on Palmieri's sixth goal of the season.
