Game 64: Oilers Shutout Devils 2-0

    The New Jersey Devils lost 0-2 to the Oilers in Edmonton on Sunday, March 7, 2010.

    Neither team scored in the first period, in which the Devils outshot the Oilers 6-3.

    Gilbert Brule beat Martin Brodeur just 1:23 into the second period to give the Oilers a 1-0 lead.

    Edmonton outshot New Jersey 16-9 in the second period, which ended with the Oilers leading 1-0.

    Marc Pouliot gave the Oilers a 2-0 lead with a goal at 8:28 of the third period.
