Game 20: Predators Defeat Devils 3-2 Shootout

    The New Jersey Devils lost 2-3 in a shootout to the Predators in Nashville on Thursday, November 19, 2009.

    Jason Arnott beat Martin Brodeur at 4:44 of the first period to give Nashville a 1-0 lead.

    Zach Parise beat Pekka Rinne at 8:35 to tie the game.   Colin White and Travis Zajac assisted on Parise's 12th goal of the season.

    Neither team scored in the second period.

    Jason Arnott added a power-play goal for Nashville just 1:09 into the third period.

    Zarch Parise scored his second goal of the game with assists from Dean McAmmond and Patrik Elias at 4:39.
