The New Jersey Devils continued their road success with a 3-2
victory over the Senators in Ottawa on Saturday, November 7, 2009.
Milan Michalek beat Martin Brodeur at 14:00 of the first period
to give the Senators a 1-0 lead.
Ottawa outshot New Jersey 7-6 in the first period, which ended
with the Senators leading 1-0.
Brian Lee put the puck behind Brodeur at 11:09 of the second
period to give the Senators a 2-0 lead.
Zach Parise got the Devils on the board with a power-play goal at
15:35. David Clarkson and Jamie Langenbrunner assisted on Parise's
seventh goal of the season.
The Devils outshot the Senators 13-8 in the second period, which
ended with the Senators leading 2-1.
David Clarkson beat Pascal Leclaire at 4:38 of the third period
on a power-play to tie the game, 2-2. Niclas Bergfors and Brian Rolston
assisted on Clarkson's fourth goal of the season.
Andy Greene added a third power-play goal for New Jersey at 7:20
to give the Devils their first lead of the game. Zach Parise and Jamie
Langenbrunner assisted on Greene's second goal of the season.
