October 29, 2009 Game 11: Devils and Danis Keep Road Streak Alive, 2-1 Win
The New Jersey Devils skated to a 2-1 victory over the Bruins in
Boston on Thursday, October 29, 2009.
David Clarkson beat Tim Thomas at 13:25 of the first period to
give the Devils a 1-0 lead. Nicklas Bergfors and Bryce Salvador
assisted on Clarkson's third goal of the season.
The Devils outshot the Bruins 13-12 in the first period, which
ended with the Devils leading, 1-0.
Boston tied the game when Patrice Bergeron beat Yann Danis just
2:32 into the second period.
The second period ended with the teams tied, 1-1. The
Bruins oushot the Devils 13-10 in the period.
Dainius Zubrus scored with 1:26 remaining in regulation time to
give the Devils a 2-1 lead. Zach Parise and Jamie Langenbrunner assisted
on Zubrus' second goal of the season.
