Devils Acquire Havelid in Exchange for Salmela

    The New Jersey Devils traded Defenseman Anssi Salmela to the Atlanta Thrashers for 35-year old Defenseman Niclas Havelid on Monday, March 2, 2009.   Havelid is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, 2009.
