Game 56: Devils Shutout Bruins 1-0

    The New Jersey Devils beat the Boston Bruins 1-0 at the Prudential Center on Friday, February 13, 2009.   The Devils now lead the season series, 2-1.

    The Bruins outshot the Devils 10-5 in the first period, but the game was still scoreless after the first 20 minutes of play.

    Bryce Salvador gave the Devils a 1-0 lead with a goal that beat Tim Thomas at 10:54 of the second period.   John Madden was credited with the only assist on Salvador's third goal of the season.
