November 21, 2007 Game 21: Devils Defeat Penguins 2-1
The New Jersey Devils beat the Penguins 2-1 in Pittsburgh on
Wednesday, November 21, 2007.
Zach Parise beat Marc-Andre Fleury at 14:50 of the first period
on a power-play to give the Devils a 1-0 lead. Jamie Langenbrunner and
Brian Gionta assisted on Parise's seventh goal of the season.
The Devils outshot the Penguins 12-6 in the first period, which
ended with the Devils leading 1-0.
The Penguins outshot the Devils 10-8, but the score remained the
same, 1-0 at the end of the second period.
Zach Parise made it 2-0 Devils with a power-play goal just 2:33
into the third period. Parise's second goal of the game was scored
unassisted.
Evgeni Malkin got Pittsburgh on the board with a goal that beat
Martin Brodeur at 7:11.
