The New Jersey Devils beat the New York Islanders 4-3 at home
on Thursday, January 4, 2007. The Devils now lead the season series
Zach Parise gave the Devils a 1-0 lead with a goal that beat Rick
DiPietro just 1:57 into the first period. Travis Zajac assisted on
Parise's 15th goal of the season.
Sergei Brylin increased the Devils lead with a goal just 15
seconds after Parise's goal. Jay Pandolfo was credited with the only
